Criminal Assault: Oluwo Itoku allegedly jumps bail after harassment of Baale

By Our Correspondent     An Egba traditional title holder, Oluwo Itoku, Chief Olusoji Sodamola has been declared wanted by the police for allegedly jumping bail. This followed Police investigation into a case of harassment and molestation reported against him at Obafemi Owode Divisional Police Station by the Baale of Afon, Chief Elijah Oluwole Osoba. It was alleged that the Oluwo Itoku and his surbodinate chiefs from Itoku township had, at gun point, forcefully depossessed Chief Elijah Oluwole Osoba of the traditional beads on his neck, the ones in his car and the sum of Three Hundred Thousand Naira (N300,000:00) cash kept in the car at Oba village shortly after the visit of the Alake and traditional Chiefs’ visit to Lisabi forest as part of the activities marking this year’s Lisabi festival. Ogun partners industries to train technical colleges instructors

The Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Prof. Abayomi Arigbabu made this known at the inaugural industry exposure programme certificate award and industry appreciation ceremony put together by the State Technical and Vocational Education Board (OGSTVEB) in collaboration with Ogun State Economic Transformation Project (OGSTEP), World Bank financed, held at the conference room of the Ministry. Police arrest woman for dehumanising her maid

By Tunde Abiola  Policemen have arrested a woman for abusing her underaged domestic maid by beating and locking up her in the house for three days. In a video, some officers were seen interrogating the lady, who has two boys of her own. They stressed at how the woman dehumanised her maid and inflicted several marks of cane on her back. The policemen stated that the woman is wicked to her maid, but good to her own children. Meanwhile, her two children, who were also captured in the video, were seen looking healthy, while the maid looked weak and had black eyes.

Tourism industry not getting neccessary attention needed from Nigerian government, says Expert
