LP Felicitate with Monday Marwa, on his Birthday, describes him as a true hero

The national leadership of Labour Party has felicitated with the National deputy secretary of the Party,  Barrister Monday Marwa as he celebrates his birthday today.

The Party in a message by the spokesperson of LP,  Dr Abayomi describes Marwa as a true hero of democracy.

"Happy Birthday to a dependable friend brother and lawyer who has always been there striving to make the Legal profession a better place.

"Your legal expertise, advocacy, and compassion are those rare attributes that make you a true hero with respect to your profession

"You always went above and beyond when working on all Labour party cases and most importantly the land mark victories of LP in 24 states Pre Elections Matters for our some of our Gubernatorial, Senatorial ,House of Representatives and House of Assembly candidates in the build up to 2023 General Election without collecting a kobo.

"Thank you once again for your hard work and working extra hard to ensure our party resounding victories in over 145 cases scattered all over the courts in Nigeria and most especially the land -mark victories and recognition of Alh Bashiru Lamidi Apapa as the Ag National Chairman of Labour party.

"The Supreme Court has also Confirmed and Affirmed Alh Bashiru Lamidi Apapa led NWC as the official Leader of Labour party in Nigeria that has the power to conduct primaries for the party for any elections

Father Dies Over Failure To Release Children For Circumcision

By Our Correspondent For refusing to submit to the age-long cultural practices of Female Genital Mutilation also known as Circumcision, a middle age woman, Mrs Mariam Adeniyi, has been given 21 days ultimatum to present her two daughters for circumcision. The mother of two and her husband Adeolu Adeniyi were threatened with death or total banishment if they disobey the elders and community leaders to carry out the age-long tradition of circumcision on her two daughters Our Correspondent gathered that the family has been having a running battle with the elders in the community and some of their extended family members for refusing to submit her daughters for the circumcision.  It was gathered that Mr and Mrs Adeolu Adeniyi ordeal started after giving birth to their twins and the family approached them during a family function to remind the wife of the cultural practices.
